IEBT provides alcohol testing and administration under two classifications: regulated and non-regulated. Breath Alcohol Technicians are certified as required by Code of Federal Regulations (CFR), specifically 49 CFR Part 40. The code only allows for testing through the use of approved screening devices (ASD) and Evidential Breath Testing Devices (EBT). All devices must be approved by the National Highway Traffic and Safety Administration (NHTSA).
IEBT also provides certified training for BAT and ASD technicians and instructors.

| The number of companies testing their employees for drug and alcohol use has drastically increased over the last decade. This is due largely to the success of drug testing in federally regulated companies, such as airlines, railroads, and the trucking industry. Once a company understands the tremendous positive impact drug testing has on its profits, it takes very little time to decide on initiating a drug free workplace policy.
Since 1988, IEBT has established a nationwide mobile-on-site and clinic testing network, and has been instrumental in setting the standard for drug testing administration in both regulated and non-regulated industries.
IEBT specializes in on-site testing and covers special needs agendas with a nationwide affiliated clinic network, no matter how large or small your company.
Certified technicians cover all need based aspects of testing including urine, hair, oral fluids, and sweat patch testing.
IEBT technicians are certified in all categories of testing including Pre-employment, Post-accident, Reasonable Suspicion, Random testing and more. |
IEBT provides drug and alcohol training, and education services throughout the country. IEBT's Drug and Alcohol in the Workplace Training Program guides employers and employees in the right direction for long-term control and elimination of drug and alcohol abuse.
Employee training provides employees with a firm understanding of your company's drug and alcohol policy. It includes the effects of drugs and alcohol, consequences of violating your company's policy, and treatment options.
Supervisor training will allow your managers and supervisors to increase their ability to maintain safety and efficiency on the job. Supervisors are trained to recognize the actual drugs, incidentals, paraphernalia, signs of use and methods of drug sales in the workplace. Additionally, the supervisors will be trained to properly observe violations, obtain second opinions, and properly document violations.
The training is mandatory for many federal and state agencies, and serves as a model for employers in non-regulated industries.
